As well as a quick commute to downtown Cincinnati and the Cincinnati Northern Kentucky international airport. If you’ve watched our video talking about relocating to Cincinnati and where you should live, we talk about other areas on the Cincinnati side and the north side of town Anderson township, Mason Ohio, Westchester that have highly rated schools and those are great communities to live in, but you are going to have a longer commute to the airport, maybe 30 to 45 minutes. And so if you do have to travel a lot for work being in Villa Hills, Kentucky, or the Northern Kentucky side, it’s gonna give you great access and a shorter commute to the airport.
Sanctuary Village is in the Kenton county school district, which includes Turkey Foot middle school and Dixie Heights high school. And it’s adjacent to river Ridge Elementary, which is a very highly rated Northern Kentucky elementary school. Parochial schools nearby include Villa Madonna Academy and St. Joseph Elementary school in Crescent Springs. Sanctuary Village not only has a great location, but it also offers river views, world-class amenities, and numerous styles and designs such as single-family homes, townhomes, and cottages.

Sanctuary village is actually a combination of Fisher homes, Drees homes and Ashley builders. They’re all kind of coming together to build this really unique neighborhood.
What’s really cool about this neighborhood is you’re kind of right on the Ridge. Some of the properties actually back up where you can see you have views of the Ohio river, just gorgeous. So just to give you guys a little bit more info about Villa Hills and maybe this area of town, Villa Hills traditionally comes with like a little bit of prestige in the name when it comes to living in Northern Kentucky, it’s close to downtown. There are some like really big mansions in the area. And you got Villa Madonna academy that is here. You’ve got river Ridge Elementary, which is a top-rated elementary school. My mother-in-law used to actually be a principal at that school.
It’s just a really nice area. You’re close to town. You’re close to shopping with Crescent Hills. You’re super close to the airport. So there’s not a lot of land left in here. So to have this nice, big new development where you can get a brand new, nice home modern design and still have the location where you’re right next to the airport and close to downtown’s a really, really great location, great neighborhood to be in.
Guide to Finding New Homes For Sale at Sanctuary Village
I’ll also say this guys, you know, I was driving around with a couple in, from San Diego, California, this week, we were looking at homes and it’s always helpful to be able to get to the area and actually drive around to the neighborhoods.
You can look on Google maps and you can kind of run directions and you can look at the shopping and all that. But until you actually get here and kind of feel the neighborhood, it’s hard to decide which one you want to be in. So if you can, I always recommend at least try to make a visit to the area, we can meet up, or I can connect you with one of my other showing agents, and you guys can at least feel around the neighborhood and then decide where you want to be.

I say this a lot, but be sure if you are gonna go to new construction, reach out to us or another agent to work with you to go through the process. Doesn’t cost you a thing. You get agent representation on your side, instead of just working with the builder.
If you’re looking for a new construction, make sure you get in an agent working for you before you go in and register. If you register with the builder, they might try to cut out the real estate agent and then it’s fine. You can still buy the house. You’re working with the builder, but you don’t get any representation on your side. And with most builders in the Cincinnati area, it doesn’t cost you anything to have a realtor on your side. The builders have that built-in into their performers. So they’re gonna pay the commission for the agent. So you might as well get them working for free for you. You get basically two people working for you for the same price.
