Dream Homes Under $400K is Aosta Valley!
I’m out here in Walton, Kentucky today. I’ll tell you what, the drive out here was beautiful. I’m passing horse farms. I’m passing rolling hills and split wood fences. It’s just really gorgeous. We’re a little bit further south down I-75 in the Walton, Kentucky area. I was down in Crittendon looking at another house.
A lot of you contact me and you’re like, “Hey, I wanna move to Cincinnati. The cost of living looks really appealing to me. The city amenities look great, and I love the idea of having a city where I can put down family roots.” But when you start looking at new construction houses closer into the city, in some of the areas that are, you know, within 5, 10, 15 minutes of downtown, those houses might be in the $400K, $500Ks on the low side and could go get up to the $600K, $700K, and $800K. So you’re like, “Hey, look, I want a new construction house. I want to be in a good school district. I want to be in a neighborhood where there are sidewalks, where there’s a playground, where there’s a pool, where it’s walkable.” And I tell you what, everywhere I look, there’s a mom pushing a carriage right now, or a stroller. There are kids playing in basketball and, uh, having fun after school. This community’s really cute. We’re in Aosta Valley. In this community, there are both Dress and Fisher Homes.
Welcome to Aosta Valley. Fisher Homes is offering their Maple Street collection of homes located in Walton, Kentucky. You can choose from a number of designs, including Ranch style, Open concept, Bonus spaces and more. And you can check out some of those home styles on the website like the Jensen, Denali, Cumberland, and Yosemite. And most all of these homes are starting at $300K. Amenities at Aosta Valley include a community pool, playground, and basketball court.
Aosta Valley is conveniently located off of Highway 16, providing easy access to I-71, I-75. Walden itself offers a small town country feel, yet it’s conveniently located near local shopping and dining. If you get a chance to drive out to Walton, you’ll feel this. You’re kind of on the edge of the city in terms of a suburb of Cincinnati. And also you’re definitely, you know, you’re a little bit south of Union, so you’re feeling more of that country farm feel.
You have that small town country feel when you’re out in Walton, Kentucky.
Aosta Valley is actually located in both Boone County, the Walton Verona School District, and Kenton County, which is the Simon Kenton School District. Why Home Buyers Choose To Live in Aosta Valley
Eric:
I’m here with Mika from Drees Homes. We’re in Aosta Valley in Walton, Kentucky. Mika, how are you doing?
Mika:
Good, thank you.
Eric:
Tell me a little bit about this community. Why would someone who’s maybe looking to move to the Cincinnati or Northern Kentucky area want to move down here to Aosta Valley? What are the highlights here Down in Walton?
Mika:
The price point is good and there’s a lot of walking going on. It’s a community with the pool.
Eric:
So if I’m looking at Kenton County or Campbell County, or maybe I’m looking on the other side of the river in Ohio..Why would I look down here versus somewhere else?
Mika:
I’d take the price point.
Eric:
And what’s the price point at?
Mika:
Mostly under $400K.
Eric:
So you can get a brand new home, four-bedroom house for under $400K? Yes. Okay. There are not a lot of places you can do that. That’s kind of cool.
There are some amenities in this neighborhood, right? What comes with living in this certain community? I think you mentioned a pool. Anything else?
Mika:
There’s a pool in a playground, a basketball court.
Eric:
Do you know how old this community is? It looks like they’ve opened up some new sections that they’re building on?
Mika:
Yeah, we have a new section over here in Kenton County and there’s probably 30 lots left.
Eric:
Help me out with that. Is this neighborhood split between Kenton and Boone County?
Mika:
It is, yes.
Eric:
So how do you know if you’re gonna be in Walton schools versus Simon Kenton schools?
Mika:
West side is Kenton. North side’s Burn.
Eric:
Okay. Do customers have a certain preference?
Mika:
They do. Mostly if they have kids, they want to either keep ’em in the same school or they’re looking for the Walton Verona School District.
Eric:
Okay. So Walton tends to be the one that people want to be in a little more.
Okay. How many, in terms of lots available, are there still lots available for the Walton schools?
Mika:
I have one.
Eric:
Well then you gotta get here soon!
All right. Well, thank you so much for your time.
Mika:
Thank you.
One thing that’s really interesting about this community is that it’s actually split between Boone County and Kenton County. So make sure if you do buy in this community, you’re gonna know what school district you’re in. Cuz you could be in the Kenton County schools or you could be in Boone County schools as the Drees rep said. Most people wanna be in the Boone County, Walton Verona School District. Cause that’s highly rated. But those lots are gonna be more limited. So make sure you check into that.
