Guys we’re going to do a Reds game at Great American Ball Park. So, one of my favorite things about Cincinnati is going to a Reds game because Reds games are amazing to bring your family to. Have my family here tonight for the first time in over a year. We’re here with kids in two years and we’re super excited. We’re meeting other relatives here and I will tell you guys why Great American Ball Park is such a fun thing to do with your family in Cincinnati.

Why Cincinnati Great American Ball Park Is Perfect For Your Family And All Generations
We are at the Great American Ball Park tonight, which is super fun. I love this place. Great American Ball Park is an amazing place to bring your family if you live here in Cincinnati. I’m a huge Bengals fan but, it’s not even a close comparison on what’s better to bring your family to. The atmosphere at a Bengals game it’s fun, not a kid-friendly place. The Reds Ball Park, however, ultimately kids friendly.
It’s amazing. You’ll see this playground, they’ve got this Wiffle ball field for kids to play on. So many things they’ve thought through here at the Red Stadium that have made it very family-friendly and I’ll be honest, I’m a huge baseball fan. I’ve been to a lot of different ball Parks. Probably over 20 plus Major League baseball stadiums. And when Cincinnati first opened this one back, I don’t remember how long ago it’s been now but, it’s probably been maybe 20 years now. When it first opened, it was not that great. It was kind of a concrete disaster. There were not a lot of fun areas in The American Ball Park. But every single year I have to give the Reds organization credit. They’re always looking for something to improve, like the smokehouse. It was a new thing a few years back.
The playground is more toddler-friendly and it’s right next to a nursing station room, so if there are moms who are breastfeeding, they can get in there, watch the games at the American Ball Park, there’s diaper stations, all that stuff. They’ve got this little date corner where they’ve got these amazing metal swings, just like Smale Ball Park, where you can just check out, watch the game, be there with your date. They’ve really thought through it from a family standpoint, if you’re on a date standpoint, they thought through it for baseball fans who love the game, they thought through for people who just want to go to a game and enjoy some entertainment, but don’t really care about baseball.
There are fun, different areas in the great American Ball Park that are social media-friendly that are a cool place to just hang out whether you like baseball or not. But back to the families I mean, it’s just so good! It’s so good and I’m meeting my family here tonight, we’re going to enjoy the game. Not just my immediate family with my kids, I got my three oldest here with me. We did babysitting for the youngest because honestly bringing a three-year-old and a one-year-old to the game is not like the most fun thing to do. So to have my five, eight, and 10 years old here, now that’s awesome. And I’m super pumped, and my five-year-old is so excited right now. So it’s fun where we don’t have to chase the three-year-old and the toddler, and we can actually enjoy the game with them. So, this place is amazing, you got to take a look around a little bit more.
The other thing I will say from a baseball pitch standpoint. So I’m going to sell baseball to you, even if you don’t like going to baseball games. I’m a huge baseball fan and from a family perspective, one of the reasons I like baseball so much is, it’s a place where you can actually go and have a conversation. It’s a sport you can attend, but the rhythms and the pace of the game are slow enough where you’re having a conversation. There’s only a key point of the game where you might be cheering or standing or things like that. As opposed to a football game where everyone’s yelling and on their feet, or if a soccer game or a basketball game or anything like that, there’s nothing like the pace and the rhythm of a baseball game, in terms of the human connection you get to have with the people you go to the game with.
That’s one of my favorite parts about the game. So I’m going to be here with my dad tonight. It’s a multi-generational sport. There’s a rhythm and poetry and a pace of the game that there’s nothing better. And, Major League Baseball they keep doing these things where they’re just trying to speed up the game and reach a younger, more tech-friendly generation. And I get that to a sense but to me, my thought is, you’ve got something great in baseball, you’ve got something that nobody else has which is, we’re so crazy busy and inundated with tech and noise. All the rest of our life, everywhere we go. The American Ball Park is somewhere where you can go and kind of turn back the clock and slow down and enjoy a slower pace. And so, that’s one of my favorite things about going to the Great American Ball Park.
I recommend it if you live in Cincinnati or if you’re moving to Cincinnati, is one of the best things going for the city. We have 81 games a year. The other great thing is, the Reds haven’t been that good for a long time. And so, yes, I’d love to see a winner, I’d love to win a World Series and all that good stuff and get back to the glory days of the Big Red Machine. But to that point of the pace, you can buy tickets and get in the top rows for five bucks. It’s super affordable. You can bring food into the game, and because they haven’t been super great, you can get tickets pretty cheap.
What I’m saying. This Ball Park is amazing, you can see Paul Brown Stadium. You can see the beautiful Roebling Bridge. Make sure you come up to the upper deck, right field section, so you get these beautiful views of the city, of the sky. And I mean, my son’s over here hitting Wiffle balls and practicing and having a blast. You’ve got this awesome area for, if you want to hang out with your date or your bride or, just your kids or whoever. You got these swings up here. This place is so awesome. You can hang out, look over the river, enjoy the skyline, enjoy looking out over at Kentucky, the Roebling Bridge. Great American Ball Park, what can I say? It’s a great place to enjoy an evening to be with your family, be with your loved ones and not only enjoy the great game of baseball.
We’re losing tonight. It’s 10 to three, we’ve given up a few home runs here but my kids are having a blast, my family’s having a blast and it’s a memory that we’re going to have for a long, long time. This is the first time I’ve been with my family. All of my brothers, my two brothers and their families, and my parents since Christmas of 2019. And here we are June 1st, 2021. So Red’s good job.
